The mission of Poeh Arts mirrors that of the Poeh Center and was established to serve as the art education component of the Center. The mission is to collect great works of art, to promote the arts of the Pueblos and to preserve the arts through sponsorship of classes in the traditional arts. Furthermore, the philosophy of Poeh Arts mirrors the Poeh Center mission and focuses on high quality, community based art education.   Poeh Arts is a valid post-secondary institution as evidenced by the articulation agreements with Northern New Mexico Community College and the University of New Mexico. The curriculum was designed to accommodate specific Tewa Pueblo cultural aesthetics and artistic values with respect to the benchmarks and goals as required by the U. S. Department of Education.
